Research Technician II
Meet Robert Eder! He is working in the lab as a research technician. He is a graduate of Vassar College holding a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior. At Vassar College he was a member of the varsity rugby team. He is working in Dr. Nguyen’s lab to gain experience in cardiovascular research before entering medical school. In the lab he is responsible for the molecular research projects that focus on looking at the involvement of various RNA transcripts in exercise. He is also involved in the lab’s clinical research projects both recruiting patients and volunteers for Cardiac MRI scans.
