Research Technician II&Lab Manager

Meet Shi Chen (Lily)! She is working in the lab as a research technician. She is a graduate of Davidson College holding a B.S. in Biology. At Davidson College, she was a member of the tennis club and e-board member of several cultural clubs. She is working in Dr. Nguyen’s lab to gain experience in cardiovascular research before entering medical school. As a new member of this team, she is currently helping with the diffusion MRI research projects. She will also be involved in animal training and maintenance, and the lab’s clinical research projects both recruiting patients and volunteers for cardiac MRI scans.
